Me Normand Riendeau was born in Montréal.

Education

  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Collège Saint-Ignace in Montréal
  • Licenced in Law, Université de Sherbrooke

Called to the bar in March 1974

Between 1974 and 1977, Me  Riendeau opracticed in Montréal in corporate law, commercial litigation, and bankruptcy and insolvency law.

From 1977,Me Riendeau has exercised his profession in the Laurentians. First established in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, he then founded, in 1980, his own office, which merged with Lalonde Riendeau & Associés on September 1st 2002 to become Lalonde Geraghty Riendeau Inc.

During those years,Me Riendeau has been part of many organizations and boards (Chamber of Commerce, Club Optimiste, board of directors of the Caisse populaire Desjardins des Pays-d’en-Haut).

In his legal practise,Me Riendeau has been exploring all aspects of civil law and commercial litigation, as well as banking and financial services law, since he represented several Caisses populaires. In time, he oriented his practise towards civil and family law, two fields where he acquired a great deal of experience and an excellent reputation.
